Hi, I'm Martijn Mol. Great to see you on my portfolio website!

In my teenage years it became clear that creativity is one of my biggest qualities. At the age of 13 I taught myself how to work with Photoshop while participating in many design-competitions on various fora. After finishing my pre-university education it was only logical for me to start looking for a degree in which creativity and ‘cunning’ are combined. After a short stop in Architecture at the Delft University of Technology, this career-safari found its destination in IT & Media Design at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences.

I like to search for multiple perspectives when solving a problem and when thinking of new ideas. I think that the media landscape is constantly changing and therefore, even while my education is mainly focused on web-design and -development, I think that we should look beyond the borders of the www-scope to let concepts come to life. That’s why I am very interested in multidisciplinary collaborations and in the latest developments in the fields of trends and technologies.

It’s my dream to use my Media Design-background as a media-architect after graduating to find and create new ways to express ourselves in the vast world of media.
